Why did you pick the name paploy for your label?
« paploy is the contraction of my boyfriend’s name, PANU and mine, PLOYPATCHARA. We launched the label together.»
How would you describe the D.N.A. of your brand?
« Easy going, easy to wear, hippie chic and bohemian. »
Where do you take your inspiration from?
« Our collection reflects my personal tastes. As I graduated Thai Traditional Dancing at the Arts school, I love to draw confortable and good vibes driven pieces. »
Which kind of piece do you especially love to draw for women?
« I love dresses. Dresses are masterpieces in a feminine wardrobe. »
Could you portrait your muse?
« She is natural, self confident and serene. All that matters to be a beautiful woman! »
What would your advices to wear properly your collection?
« Play with accessories, jewellery and shoes. I only aim to create an easy going and aesthetic dressing for women. »
Could you tell us more about the production steps at paploy?
« I spend hours browsing Instagram profiles, reading magazines and observing people surrounding me to get inspired, crush on some styles and fall for some tones. I preciously save all those key elements on my phone and start drawing the pieces. I also spend a lot a time running the city to find the best printed fabrics to go with my designs. All my pieces are produced in Thailand respecting traditional craftwork methods. »
Which kind of fabrics and materials do you love to work with?
« I love to propose pieces made of linen and cotton. In my opinion, using natural materials add more value to my work. »
